9:07 am - I have come to the conclusion that...
I really need to learn to think before I speak.

It has been ruining all sorts of things in my life and lately more than ever.

*sigh*

This is a hard thing to work on, to try and be conscious of everything you're about to say, to try and predict the reaction as to determine whether it should be spoken or not.

*another sigh*

3:29 pm - Random fact #1
I just decided to share a random fact about myself with you.
I also decided to make this a random occurence...but in the future there will be no explanation.

Did you know for about every day for the last year, I eat a green apple with salt?

Probably not, but you do now.

8:23 am - Bath & Body Works
So some of you may know that they recently had their big semi-annual sale.

I fell victim to this sale. Yes victim...to my own wreckless spending.

I bought 40 items! Totalling $150 over the course of 2 days.

Of course, I won't need to shop there for the rest of the year.

I bought scents in anticipation of others birthdays etc. So not all just for myself.

One interesting thing though was they had their "classics" collection available at only $4 for full size bottles. Somehow I failed to realize they were classics and not new scents, or I would've stocked up on those. (it's kind of weird though b/c I've been going there for years and never noticed those scents)

The creamy coconut is beyond amazing. I'm not sure why it was retired. I know everybody loves coconut lime verbena; but I personally think it smells too similiar to sunblock. The creamy coconut smells (I started to type taste) just like a real coconut, which has an almost pineapple undertone. In short, I'm in love.

Another scent I found that I truly adore is cool citrus basil. Honestly it reminds me of Irish Spring soap; just so clean and refreshing.

And at their next semi-annual sale > I hope they offer their classics at $4 and if so I will be stocking up.

haha am I a nerd or what?

9:53 am - MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!
Hello!!!
I wanted to wish all of you a Merry Christmas in case I don't make it to a computer in the next few days.

Some things have gone horribly wrong as of late but you know what, I'm really happy.

The fact that I am lucky to have good friends has been completely reinforced.
You were there for me when I needed you most and that means the world to me.

I've also gotten so many gifts from people at work, it's insane! And it's not even what they're getting me that matters but the fact that they thought of me, that they took a moment to let me know that I'm appreciated...is the best gift of all!!!

and omg you guys! Sam bought me a $200 watch!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She didn't tell me of course but I looked on line b/c it looked fancy so I was wondering. I feel so bad! I wouldn't have ever wanted her to spend that much, especially since my gifts to her were like, lotion & spray from body works.

I have to get it sized, it's much too big. omg dudes! i can't believe i'm wearing a $200 watch right now!!!!!!

oh and ANNA thank you for the card! It was a pleasant surprise.

LOVE AND HAPPY HOLIDAY WISHES TO ALL OF YOU!

8:23 am - MAC Glitter = Circus Performer
I bought 4 samples of "MAC" glitter. I say it with " " b/c I got them from eBay, so truly it could be anything. They are definetly cosmetic glitter (you can tell by the finely milled texture).

In any event, they are amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They cover like an eyeshadow but with an intense (insane) glitter.

The pink one I'm wearing today is especially amazing as it reflects purple.
But yes, I look like I should be in a Broadway show or on a flying trapeeze.
I LOVE IT!

10:19 am - Taxes
OK,

so I'm finally effin done. The federal was easy and only took a few moments, but it was filing Mass State taxes that were tricky because I had to file using some special Non Resident form. I suppose it really wasn't hard, just that I've never used that form before.

Anyways, I'm sort of excited, if I did them both correctly I should be getting about $1200 back, and after my recent car repairs, the money is definetly needed!

8:22 am - Delias!!!
It's insane that I'm even excited about this...

So [last night] I'm looking through the new Delias catalogue, saw some cute things I want, but I really hate ordering clothes this way b/c I can't try them on. I looked through it about 5 times and decided I was going to order them anyway, that if they really just don't fit I can return them. So I looked on the back cover to see if they were offering any shipping deals.

It said "Please take this coupon to our new store opening..." I'm like oh ok, b/c they would never open a store in NH..but then the words "Pheasant Lane Mall" caught my eye. WHAT! What?! So I read it through over and over each time ending in "OH MY GOD!" So yes, by the end of April there will be a Delias 20 minutes away from me!!!!!!!!!

9:09 am - webpages
Sometimes I really miss making them.
A lady earlier this week mentioned how her page sucks, and the guy won't update it etc.
And I found myself this morning, doing things that her webmaster should have done.
I checked out pages that sell similiar items and determined which ones were successful, which ones fit her needs, which would work for her products and client base.

But like, why? why am i even doing this. it's crazy. i think i'd probably be good at this, i know the steps to take, but there is something incredibly hard about not owning my design. i wonder if you can make the page and not create any logos for them. Avalon still uses my logo as theirs which they should of course but it's hard to see.

i think that, i'm starting to feel the pressure of getting everything together for school. I know it isn't until september, but I've been trying so hard to save money and my car is just taking that away, I don't know if i'll have the money by then. And then honestly as it nears, I get incredibly unsure if this is what I want to do. Do i actually want to do hair nad makeup or is it that I just want to be able to do my own hair and makeup?

I just want a job where I can look like myself and not have to hide who I am.

4:34 pm - I deleted it,
because even though I really was not aiming that at anyone on here, the fact that it did offend people I care about, it's just not worth it.

I would have thought people who know me would know I wouldn't say things to intentionally hurt them, and especially through a public forum.

9:07 am - FUCK MY FUCKING CAR!!!!
Oh believe it.
Yes, more problems.

Ok so my dad somehow managed to completely fix the dent. He is awesome in that way. Unfortunately it had cracked a few days earlier, so he repaired the crack with fiberglass patch and it reinforced it in the wheel well etc. Great awesome, considering that the ins. company only gave me $600 for repairs. I gave him some money for spending all day fixing the bumper. Other than the slight crack line, it looks completely new.

Well about 2 weeks ago I noticed a horrible noise coming from my car. My dad just assumed it was the drive belt, since it was at 80,000 mi now, it was time to replace it anyways. So he replaces that ($50 for a belt).

UGH UGH UGH UGH!!!!!!! So he said he would drive it just to make sure the noise was gone. He was out for roughly 15 minutes when he called to say he was coming back b/c whatever that noise is, is a really, really bad noise.

*big sigh*

So he says that it's definetly the cv joint or the ball bearing, that the girl must have hit my tire as well (it's that tire). Ugh so we leave my car Sunday, they call him back this morning to say that it will be $440 to fix it, which he knows is high but since it's such an involved job that it's worth going to the dealership for. It's not just the CV Joint and Ball Bearing, but the whole Wheel area needs all new parts...

But then, hHAHAHAHAHAH THEN BECAUSE IT REALLY COULDN'T GET WORSE they said I need a new manifold and that's why my car runs hot and something maybe with the head gasket and that will be another $700!!!!!!!!!!! So yeah $1,100 of my money that I have been saving for school is now gonna hafta go to this fucking crapbox. My Dad could fix it so much cheaper, but unfortunately he's going back to FL today (he was only home for 5 days).

I SERIOUSLY FUCKING HATE MY CAR! Do you understand this? To sell it I have to fix it. It's just this big huge money drain.

9:23 am - [Hair] Vindication
Ok, so it happened this morning.

A group of visitors from Taiwan were in my lobby. I got nervous b/c one girl caught me out of the corner of her eye, then turned and went "oooooo" so then all turned and looked at me. Then they started nodding and talking fast. I thought they were talking about my eyes for some reason, but I wasn't sure. So Wilton who I have met a couple of times now and is very friendly said "They saying how much they like your hair" I was surprised, I looked at them unsure and one of them goes "YOUR HAIR IS SO SUPER CUTE!" the others started nodding excitedly (some even made diagonal motions across their foreheads) and I just got quite red and said thankyou.

How is this vindication you ask? Because my goal all along has been Anime hair, hair that I see on specials about Asia (they always have cool hair with lots of choppy, fluffy layers), cool Asian rockstar hair. so. YEAH!

8:23 am - Dandruff Shampoo
For years I have bought Neutrogena's T-Gel. It's a small bottle and is somewhat expensive for the amount. It's not that I used it everyday, but it said that's not needed. At times I had tried using it everyday still with little effect.

I figured I'd try the Garnier Fructis dandruff 2in1 shampoo/conditioner > it works amazing! I have NO dandruff, the only thing is that you do definetly need conditioner, but seriously for $2.20 a bottle compared to like $13? um yeah.

4:13 pm - only me
Only I could punch myself in the nose by accident.

The zipper on my coat jammed, I yanked it, and in the process punched myself in the nose. It actually bled a little (not a lot but hah) and today it's still super sore.

Looking forward to another great weekend :)
